About Dancik International

Dancik International, Ltd is a constant advocate for progress in the flooring, ceramic tile, natural stone, and home decor industry. We are proud and active members in the Ceramic Tile Distributors Association (CTDA), the Floor Covering Business to Business Association (fcB2B), the North American Association of Floor Covering Distributors (NAFCD), the Tile Council of North America (TCNA), and the World Floor Covering Association (WFCA).

Our History

Dancik International, Ltd. was formed under our original name "Dancik-On-Disk" in 1981 as a software design and consulting company to provide distribution applications to various industries. In 1984, our President and founder, Mitchell Dancik, spent a year researching the floor covering and ceramic tile industry on behalf of a client. In order to provide a complete vertical market solution, this in-depth research encompassed the entire supply and distribution chain, including manufacturers, distributors, importers, and retailers. This effort resulted in the creation of our original software products, the known as TILE VISION^®, FLOOR VISION^®, and MARBLE VISION^®.

These products have evolved into our current suite of software solutions. By 1988, Dancik-On-Disk became completely specialized in ceramic tile, floor covering, natural stone, and home décor, with our entire client base comprised of distributors, retailers, and manufacturers in those industries.

In 1994, Dancik-On-Disk relocated from New York City to our current headquarters in Cary, North Carolina.

In 2002, we changed our name to Dancik International, Ltd. This change reflected the growth of our business in terms of geography (with customers in Canada, Australia, Bermuda, and South America).

Dancik International is still owned and operated by its original President and founder, Mitchell Dancik, and is managed by a professional team with decades of tile and flooring industry experience. Dancik International continues to operate a profitable, debt-free, and growing business.

Today Dancik International’s clients are a "who’s who" of the floor covering, ceramic tile, natural stone, and home decor industry, including brand name manufacturers and industry-leading distributors and retailers.
