- Inventory Selection Optimizer (ISO)
Dancik Enterprise System’s unique Inventory Selection Optimizer (ISO) automatically allocates the correct shades, dye lots, rolls, calipers, and pallets to each order. Your customer service representatives are completely freed from the task of selecting the right lot or roll from inventory. - Bill of Material / Kit function
Our Bill of Material / Kit function allows products to be associated with each other, and provides a simplified approach to up-selling. Your customer service representatives do not need to memorize or search for the trims, moldings, setting materials, and accessories that should be included in each sale. - Unique Product Specification Capabilities
The flooring, tile, home décor, and stone industries demand systems that do more than just convert quantities from one unit of measure to another. The Dancik Enterprise System understands the unique requirements of every product in your inventory:- Tile purchased by the square meter, sold by the square foot, received in pallets, picked by cartons and pieces (all done automatically without any user asking the system to convert any quantity)
- Natural stone sold in individually sized pieces, but priced by the square foot
- Carpet, vinyl, fabric, and wallpaper sold by square yard or square foot, picked by full roll, roll balance, or cut by lineal foot
- Laminate countertop material priced by square foot, sold by specific size, but cut from other size sheets based on our cut optimization matrix
- Multi-size tile patterns are sold by area of coverage and the system calculates the number of pieces of each tile in the pattern
- Point-of-Sale
Our Point-Of-Sale module completely manages cash sales and credit, commercial and residential, and retail and wholesale, including all of the industry-specific nuances you expect from a Dancik solution. Every order can accommodate multiple commissions, promotions, spiffs, buying group rebates, trip program funding, and exact profit margin calculations. - Direct Shipment functionality
Our Direct Shipment function allows a single order entry step to produce two documents:- A purchase order to the supplier for direct shipment to your customer
- An order acknowledgment for your customer
- Special Orders
Our Special Orders function allows you to mix stock and non-stock items on a single order. The system automatically issues purchase orders to the appropriate suppliers for the special order items. - Build-A-Truck and Transportation Planning
Our Build-A-Truck and Transportation Planning functions enable a distribution center to effectively monitor, release, build, and dispatch truckload orders to branches and large customers. - Importing
The Importing function tracks your purchase order every step of the way-from supplier, to vessel, to port of entry, to your warehouse. Our Build-A-Container function accurately costs imports including duty, overseas and inland freight, and other importing expenses. - "X by Y" Reporting System
Our “X By Y” Reporting System enables you to analyze sales and order data using report templates that were designed based upon Dancik's twenty years of experience working with leading companies in the flooring, ceramic tile, natural stone, and home decor industries. - Activity Based Costing (ABC)
Dancik Enterprise includes a built-in Activity Based Costing (ABC) module that enables you to go beyond analyzing customers and products by gross profit. ABC analysis captures the cost of doing business with specific customers and products, and incorporates accruals for buying group rebates and other marketing activities. It’s like having a financial statement for every customer and product. - Flexible Pricing
Flexible pricing structures allow you to price items the way your business dictates: with quantity breaks, job and contract pricing, percentage off list price, percentage above cost, broken carton charges, pallet pricing, minimum order charges, and much more. - Output Distribution System
Our Output Distribution System enables any report or document to be faxed, emailed, posted to a web site, or downloaded to a personal computer (PC) folder. For example, you can have monthly management reports posted to an automated web site to facilitate virtual meetings and webinars. - Commissions System
The Commissions System automates every aspect of the management of commissions, spiffs, and referral fees:- Formulas can vary by branch, salesperson, customer, product, order type, and so on
- Multiple parties can be commissioned on same order
- Commissions may be triggered by invoices or payments, and calculated based upon sales, gross profit margin, or discount-from-list-price
- Customer Contacts
The Customer Contacts system allows for referral fees to be accrued for the salespeople of your customers who promote your products - Duplicate Orders Alert System
The Duplicate Orders alert system lets your customer service representatives know before they enter a new order that the customer already has an open quote or hold for the requested product. - Purchasing and Replenishment
The Purchasing and Replenishment modules incorporate all of the unique requirements to effectively stock rolled goods, ceramic tile, rugs, natural stone, laminates, and other flooring and home décor products:- Remnants can be excluded from current onhand calculations
- Consideration of shade, dye lot, and roll sizes
- Build to supplier minimums and restrictions for weight, pallets, cartons, and so on
- Accounts for early order activity on sampled imports that have not yet arrived
- Inventory Reconciliation
The Dancik Enterprise system reconciles inventory with unprecedented accuracy and auditability:- All inventory levels can be audited to prove that current onhand quantities and values are equal to the accumulation of all underlying transactions
- Accounts payable purchases are matched to receipts, allowing for separate reconciliation of freight versus material
- Credit and Account Receivable Disposition
The credit and accounts receivable disposition of every customer is integrated throughout all operational processes:- Orders are automatically diverted to credit department based on account specific rules and formulas
- Retail sales with a balance due are automatically flagged, and warehouse and sales staff are alerted if any goods are scheduled to be picked up or shipped
- General Ledger Drilldown
General Ledger Drilldown enables financial managers to start with a twelve-month view of overall financial position, and drill down in any sequence they choose – by category, cost center, account, and so on, including detailed views into each journal and each vendor invoice.
